As Surinamese people living in diaspora, we often travel to Suriname to visit family, plan vacations or make business trips. However, the current high ticket prices make this difficult for many people. The ticket prices for flights from Amsterdam to Paramaribo have increased significantly in recent years, which is not only due to increasing fuel costs and taxes.

We call on the airlines involved and the Dutch and Surinamese governments to lower these prices. It is important that travel between the Netherlands and Suriname remains affordable for everyone. Sign this petition if you also think that ticket prices should drop!
